I was brought up to be suspicious of a Chef who doesn’t like their own food and this has stayed with me. In a now very long career in the Software Industry I’ve seen many instances where Companies I have worked for do not use their own products even when they could improve the business. In our case we build tools to help businesses improve their business processes.
It’s exciting to be able to report that we at Xelleron are using our own products to improve our business. In this case, we are migrating our existing V1 Form Builder tool to our V2 toolset from a single custom Html/Javascript control to a Workflow Wizard running under our Workflow Engine Component. Not only will this make it much easier to improve our Form Builder tool over time but we believe it will also make the Team better understand the usage of our tools from a customers perspective.
